12 FEB 2012 - VALENTINE'S DANCE

We have had people asking about the dance this term. It is coming SOON! Bookmark your calendars and get your cosplays ready! The dance will be held on 12 February 2012 (Sunday), from 5pm to 9pm in the SUB Partyroom. Prices at the showings are $3 per person and $10 for a group of 5 for club members (for non menbers, $4 each, $12 for group of 5). Price at the door is $5 (member) or $6 (non member) per person.

16 MAR 2012 - ART CONTEST DUE

Second term art contest is on!! This time we have three categories: coloured art, black & white art and Anime Club logo. There is no restriction on how many entries or to how many categories you can submit, but you can only win once if we have enough entries. Entries can be dropped off to our execs during any showings from now to the deadline. Electronic entries can be emailed to us at ubcani@gmail.com.

So our next showing is an informal showing. What does that mean? That means we can show... anything!! If you have some anime which you would like to share on the big screen, bring them with you! If not, shows will be left to the discretion of our substitute (?) showing master <- whoever that is. Please inform any of our execs, or email us before hand if you are planning to bring anything.

Second informal! What means... we will be showing random anime again (exact titles to be disclosed during the showing XD). Halloween Dance tickets still selling!! Find any of our execs (in particular the treasurer) to get your tickets with the discounted price! Also, there will be a special event during this showing - the Cosplay Emergency Q&A Session! Bring all your cosplay questions, work-in-progress, ideas and materials to get some tips on how to make a nice costume!

You will need to come to the dance on 29 October 2011 and buy tickets on the spot.
