The UBC Anime Club Library is a collection of Anime DVDs purchased by the club.

The library is available to members during the showings only. If you are a member who would like to borrow from the UBC Anime Club DVD library (and can't make it to the showings), please arrange a time with the Librarian, David Johnson, by sending an e-mail to djrjohnson+hotmail.com (please replace "+" with "@").

Basic Rules For Borrowing:

* If you are borrowing the series that we are currently showing, you are restricted to borrow ONLY the DVDs that have been shown to the club. You CANNOT borrow the DVDs that we have not shown to the club yet.
* Limited to maximum of 2 DVDs at each borrowing time
* $5 dollar deposit for each disc you borrow; boxsets are counted by the NUMBER OF DISCS, NOT by the box.
* Student number, Anime Club Membership Card, E-mail, Phone Number (both home and mobile) and Home Address are REQUIRED when asking to borrow something (A picture id --driver's license-- is sufficient to provide all this information if asked).
* DVDs can be borrowed up to two weeks.
* All materials is borrowed through our librarian.
* Renting from the library makes the DVD YOUR (the borrowers) responsibility. All DVDs are in good condition (if not PERFECT condition). If there are ANY scratches/damage that may incur while you are borrowing, you will have to replace what you borrowed by paying the full value.
* Over dues will be charged $1 PER DISC PER week (you have two weeks to return it from the sign-out date before the charge is made)
* All policies are subject to change, please check this page or with an executive, should there be any confusion.

WARNING: The library is for the private home use of club members ONLY! Copying and distribution of (eg. like a movie theatre) any material is highly illegal! UBC Anime Club retain the right to refuse your rental if such events happen.
